The Smurfit Kappa Group Today
The Smurfit Kappa Group is amongst the largest manufacturers of containerboard, corrugated and solid board containers, folding cartons, and paper bags. It also is one of Europe's leading collectors of wastepaper for recycling, using much of the material collected in the production of paper and paperboard within its mills. The Smurfit Kappa Group is also one of the largest Latin American companies for containerboard, corrugated containers, sacks and folding cartons, with operations in Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina, Chile, Costa Rica, Ecuador and the Dominican Republic.
